22 Years experience in the petrochemical, oil, food and beverage and mining process industries. Positions held as Project Manager, Engineering Manager, Piping Manager, Lead Piping Engineer, Site Manager, Drawing Office Supervisor and Piping Design Specialist.
Execute work accordance with company and project health, safety, environmental and quality systems.
Understand and knowledge of plant and piping layout engineering. Good communicator and good understanding of multidiscipline engineering activities. Good understanding of schedules and budget drives.
Verify, update and endorse the basic engineering including, but not limited to development options, and detailed engineering, development of design drawings, risk and safety studies.
Co-ordinate for review and incorporating of comments upon all engineering documents following review.
Develop all specifications and procedures. Prepare and issue all necessary material schedules, material requisitions, and material data sheets and all other technical documents for contractors.

>> EMPLOYMENT
Duties:
• Responsible for the compilation of material procurement schedules, tender analysis, adjudications and supplier approvals.
• Responsible for piping design, shop detailing and fabrication queries.
• Responsible for the selection of Valves, valve data sheets and piping specifications.
• Responsible for the liaison with vendors and suppliers of pumps, valves, basalt and alumina lining, materials etc.

• Responsible for the approval of design calculations, review of all documents, drawings, data, technical evaluations for civil, structural, mechanical and piping.
• Ensure drawings are properly studied and field checks are made before work is undertaken.

• Responsible for the review and approval of risk assessments and the implementations of HSE and QA / QC policies and procedures.
• Plan and organise technical inter phase co-ordination.
• Responsible for ensuring technical conformity of all materials supplied to project site with necessary third party inspection reports as applicable.
• Resolve day to day matters pertaining to incomplete information or ambiguity in specification / drawing and field problems.
