Professional Experience
More than 20 years of experience in Instrumentation and Control with strong Project, Operation, Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning background in the offshore and onshore oil and gas industry.
Work experience covers operations and technical support in WNPOC, Sudan and Peninsula Malaysia Operations (PMO); development projects in PCSDB-DD and Joint-Venture projects (Sudan Block 5A/5B Thar Jath Development Project, Malaysia-Thailand JDA CPOC Muda Development Projects, Vietnam Pearl PLDP-A Project) and Dulang-D development projects.
Positions held includes as Engineer, Senior Engineer, Unit Head of E&I Sections in Peninsular Malaysia Operation from 1998 to 2003. Manager of Instrument & Control Section in Development Division from 2006 to 2007 before switching to Technical Professional (TP) position as Staff Engineer in Petronas Carigali until now. Currently seconded at WNPOC, Sudan as Section Head of Electrical & Instrument Engineering since Nov 2009. Passed Principal Engineer assessments in Sept 2011(by PETRONAS professional external assessor).
