Employed with SGS-Angola-currently offshore on rotation working on Exxon Mobil FPSO integrity survey, inspecting pressure vessels. Utilising automated ultrasonics using the Silverwing and Mistras Technology systems of data collection and analysis.
February 2002- 2011
Employed with Teknica Oil Services at Zeuitina Oil Terminal in Libya operational duties as Senior N.D.T. Technician undertaking general N.D.T. work, on pressure vessels, piping and new fabrication welds, at the Companys Terminal Tank Farm & L.N.G. Plant. Methods employed include U.T, M.P.I, D.P.I. & Visual examination of structural steelwork. Employment ended Mach 2011 due to Libyan uprising.

Employed with WMS at Corus Tubes pipe mill Hartlepool as general NDT technician working to various specifications, e.g. API5L on pipe seam welds testing of new welds, repair of weldments and undertaking surveys for hydrogen induced cracking.

Employed as NDT Technician with OIS plc involved in the ultrasonic inspection of class one pipe work at British Energy AGR and PWR stations duties also included work on petrochemical refineries undertaking erosion and corrosion surveys and general MPI and DPI

Employed as multi-disciplined inspector working for Brunei Shell Petroleum on fixed Installations offshore. Main area of work was ultrasonic and visual erosion and corrosion survey of flow lines and structural integrity surveys.
