Dear Sirs,
I have gained over 15 years experience in bars, nightclubs and restaurants starting as a waiter. After that I accomplished a training for being a cocktail bartender and then moved on to restaurants in different positions from waiter to floor manager and have been working now for the last 6 years as restaurant manager in restaurants of different sizes up to 60 persons of staff working under me and 200 covers.
My responsibilities include staff responsibilities - hiring, training and controlling staff and planning of work schedules - overseeing cleaning and laundry services, preparing restaurant according to customer orders, order of drinks, stock and cost control, wine and cigar selection and of course customer service and customer acquisition via e-mail, advertising, internet and social networks.
I always did like to work with people and close to people, this is why I would like to stay in the catering area and of course to extend my competence in this area built up in these years. Originally from Austria I moved to Spain in order to get to know another country and culture, but after 11 years of being here I am looking for a change and thought that offshore catering is an interesting area for me and on the other hand that the skills I have gained so far could be interesting for employers in this area.
