Tasks Undertaken- Augmented the sales of biofuels and technical oils to the energy generation and
civil engineering sectors across Europe to support company business model. Provided market
appraisal, cost analysis and business case development for new and repeat business opportunities to
support services, products and operations.
Capabilities Gained- Bi-lateral working in joint ventures with Oleo chemical partners Croda, Ocean
Nutrition Canada and Lysi, providing process management classification and definition for
Environment Agency REACH compliance. Validation of products for tax incentives through life cycle
analysis, presenting interpretation of EU Directive RED, Ofgem ROCS and Fits schemes to support
sales team, products and services within regulatory arena. Executed quality assurance planning
through supply chain by providing audit of storage and processing facilities at MBP Bio production
Greaaker, Norway and Liverpool Bulk Liquids, UK. Business case presentation to energy generators
including TESCO, RWE Npower, BLUENG/2OC to win contracts for biofuels supply to CHP biofuel
power generation plants of up to £6 million. Business management using ERP system MS Navision to
manage logistics, key contracts and accounts for repeat business delivered in civil engineering sector
in Iceland to the value of £1.5million per annum. Contract draft, negotiation and delivery for repeat
seasonal supply.
Engineering Manager-FRESCA (Liverpool Produce Terminal) Port of Liverpool
Tasks Undertaken- Provided engineering planning for site operations and assets to ensure smooth
running of food processing and storage plant to support international supply chain. Investigated
alternative energy supply schemes to support operations to eradicate harmonics from localised grid
network.
Capabilities Gained-Development of Planned Preventative Maintenance scheme in Shire Frontline to
support technical staff operations. Managed engineering inventory and stores. Controlled budget for
engineering operations. Provided suitable input into daily operational planning as part of the Senior
Management Team. Managed documentation for FSA audit. Commissioned PLC controlled equipment for food processing and site operations.
