I am working for a midsized Mumbai based ship management as Crew Manager. I am totally focused into recruitment of new hands for the expanding fleet & expanding of the company’s brand name in Eastern India. I had started the Kolkata branch & had been right from its inception, finding out the right office space at the right location as Vaastu. Finally when it is open, I had been recruiting the right candidates for the respective vessels.

My present job requirements include :-

- Crew recruitment and scheduling

- Able to handle Recruitment & Coordination matters

- Administrative matters including flights, accomodation and visa arrangements

- Ensure that certification and experience of qualified crew fits legal and company’s requirements

- Manage onboard crew

- Assist in recruitment functions and other general admin duties

- Create and maintain personal records and update all certificates

- Adhoc assignments as and when required

Position: HEAD HUNTER, KOLKATA OFFICE

Key tasks & Responsibilities:


- liaise with Mumbai office in controlling Human Resource for more than 200 ships,

- inducting new both deck & engine officers for the expanding fleet,

- preparing of Officer’s Data of respective candidates for approval,

- initial accustomising new candidates with company policies & regulations,

- initial filtering / interview of suitable candidates,

- preparing of initial joining papers including different visas,online company courses and,

- final preparing of enjoined candidate’s file system at Kolkata & Mumbai office.
