Position held: Environmental Supervisor
Duties and Obligation:
• Assistance of site HSSE Manager to build and maintain Environmental Management System (EMS) inline with ISO 14001:2004 on construction site.
• Implementation of requirements detailed in Project specific environmental plans and procedures
• Preparation of daily & monthly environmental statistics and audit reports. Incident investigation, environmental risk analysis and reporting. Maintenance of waste management records. Preparation of site waste management plan & Participation in environmental audits carried out by client.
• (Sea shore working site) Daily monitoring of sea bed dredging activities, installation of pipelines in the sea (1500m length) and sea bed reinstatement activities. Monitoring over the pool construction and operation for dredging material. Monitoring and analysis over site pumped water disposal into the sea.
• Establishment of site waste management system: preparation of site waste management plan; installation of kitchen waste landfill for project camp and preparation site specific landfill establishment & operation procedure.
• Environmental monitoring over project camps, Reverse Osmosis Plant and Sewage Treatment Plant operation. Water analysis and reporting.
• Environmental permitting and licenses: Monitoring over project contractors’ construction activities in compliance with local environmental legislation.
• (Pipeline working site) Coordination and maintaining data concerning pipeline project oil spill response, erosion control, stream protection, archeology & ROW final reinstatement activities (Gabion & Rip rap installation, jute matting), measuring & monitoring, environmental & other types of permits, trainings & toolbox talks, waste management & social documentation - land regarding complaints of the project
• Negotiation with subcontractors regarding purchase of materials (various inert materials & products) for construction purpose.
• Coordination of environmental, land & permit department activities and attendance of weekly HSE site meetings with client during absence of site environmental manager.
