Mechanical Inspections Engineer
(Operational preparation, Start-up and Commissioning)
Duties Include:
• Maintaining in-depth knowledge of all plant equipments(pumps, compressors, hydraulic units, gearboxes, pneumatic transport units, conveyors, Roller press, Ball mills) on a continuous basis noting the modifications during erection onsite,
• Developing inspection procedures for plant equipments,
• Ensuring the planned inspection of all plant equipment and initiate work orders based on inspection results, including safety checks,
• Monitoring and co-ordinating condition predictors including testing and vibration data collection with analysis for all critical equipments,
• Documenting of commissioning reports and performance run reports.
• Ensuring the availability of commissioning spares, special tools, lubricants and other tools for commissioning,
• Generating punch-list and ensuring their clear up,
• Following up and maintaining Predictive maintenance schedules
• Validate and update equipment specification files and history sheets
• Pressure vessel inspections and testing,
• Contribute to the analysis of failures and problems, recommending corrective actions,
• Propose economic ways to extend the life of plant equipment,
• Participation in the Setting up of the lubrication management system ( TOTAL TIG 5) for the plant,
• Participating in plant safety, health and environmental programs ensuring their implementation alongside safe and environmentally sound methods of working.
