Career Objective
To seek an exciting and challenging career in oil/gas industry, in an environment where talents are appreciated, efforts are rewarded and personal growth is encouraged.
Professional Experience
Manage projects related to Petroleum Industry.
Areas of Experience:Rock Mechanics, PVT analysis of black oils, Well log interpretation, Reservoir Simulation, Reservoir Characterization (Rock typing, permeability-porosity modeling)
Projects Completed:
(1)Determine Rock Mechanical properties (UCS, E, PR, Dynamic E, and Tensile Strength from Triaxial, Acoustic, Brazilian and Hydrostatic Tests) for core samples from different fields in Saudi Arabia.
(2)Permeability Modeling For HRDH/Khuff field in Saudi Arabia.
The tasks included, prediction of reservoir permeability from wire line logs for the un-cored.
(3) Prediction of Pressure, Volume and Temperature (PVT) properties of reservoir fluids.
PVT properties such as relative oil volume, Rs, Bo, specific gravity of gas, oil viscosity, Separator test parameters, which are usually obtained from laboratory experiments, were now predicted using ANN with composition of the oil as the only input to ANN. The procedure was submitted in the form of user friendly software to model the above mentioned PVT properties.
(4) Development of models to determine permeability and Hydraulic Flow Units for carbonate reservoirs in Saudi Arabia.
Rock types were classified based on HFU concept. Hydraulic units (HUs) identified from core data were correlated with log data using AI models, to be able to predict HUs for uncored wells. Porosity-Permeability relationship were developed for each HU. Finally permeability was estimated for the uncored sections.
