Career Objective
To obtain a full-time position in a professional environment as an engineer. I would like to enhance my skills that commensurate in Chemical engineering. A position in Safety, Environmental engineering or Project Management is what I am looking for.
Professional Experience
1. Famous Decorators Ltd, Nairobi, Kenya- 2011-2012, building construction management with interior for 12 months.
2. Orbit chemical industries limited, Nairobi, Kenya- 2010, industrial training was carried out for 3 months in the Sulphonation plant.
Eductation
•University- Nottingham University Malaysia Campus 2007-2011, (Hons) BEng in Chemical Engineering (Accredited by MQA and IchemE).
•High School- Aga Khan Academy, Nairobi, Kenya- 2005-2007, International Baccalaureate.
As a requirement for the completion in the diploma program I submitted a 4000 word extended essay in chemistry. The aim of the project was to manage wastage of avocados in Kenya and using the oil of this fruit to make bio-diesel to supplement fossil diesel. This piece of research intrigued me into pursuing the above mentioned career.
•Secondary School- Premier Academy, Nairobi, Kenya- 2005, O'levels. Grades 5A’s, 2B’s, 1C.

•Community service- Active participation in Charity walks and fund raising events, volunteer work at the Aga Khan Hospital Nairobi. Over 200hours of CAS (Creativity, Action, Service) in the IB diploma, involving interaction and assisting people of various charity homes in developing their living environment. This taught me to work under pressure and enhanced time-management skills.
•Languages- Fluent in English, basics in Swahili, Gujarati, Hindi, Kacchi and fair amount of German and Bahasa Malay.
•Leadership and Teamwork- Group leader in organizing activities for Kabete Children's Home. Events officer (2008-2009) and Public Relations officer (2009-2010) of the Pool society University of Nottingham Malaysia. Captain of football team 2004.
