My Job responsibilities are as follow:

• Monitoring &controlling parameters by DCS of gas fired steam high Pressure boilers, Turbine ,Fuel Gas System, Sea water system, demineralization Plant, water & effluent treatment, cooling water system ,nitrogen generation, high pr pumps Air compressors, Air Dryer & flare system ensuring safe operation

• Handling all start up, shut down & emergency situations.

• Thorough knowledge of all equipments, instruments & trouble shooting, reporting abnormalities & taking quick decisions in emergency.

• Coordinated with maintenance crew in major s/d & turn around jobs.

• All work follow as per SHEM Procedure

• Receives shift hand-over from previous shift operator with all information
on process conditions. Hands over the shift to the next shift in the shift
End.
• Monitors the parameters of all systems. Checks various stages of the
Process. Takes corrective action whenever necessary, after informing
Panel Operator. Records details of pressures, temperatures, flows, loads
and current ratings and reports to Panel Operators of all abnormal noises,
Vibrations, leaks, lube oil levels, etc.

• Shuts down, prepares and isolates equipment for inspection, maintenance,
as instructed by the Supervisor. While handing over the equipment to the
Maintenance, ascertains safe condition and signs on the work permit.
Makes frequent checks when the maintenance of any equipment is going
on. Stops the maintenance job wherever any unforeseen dangerous
Situation arises. After completion of the maintenance job, ensures that
Everything is safe and clean, and then only initiates closing the work permit.

• Starts up, regulates systems and equipment in the assigned field. Includes
Checking of motors for free rotation, valve opening in correct sequence,
Checking temperature increases, adjusting parameters etc.

• Informs the Supervisor whenever chemicals are required. Observes the
Receipt and unloading, noting down quantities ad conditions.

• Participates in the training of new trainee operators and developing other
Employees.

• Adheres to the company SHEM policy and ensures that al established
Rules & regulations are adhered to at all times and maintains assigned area
In a clean & dirty condition through the assistance of contracted laborers.

DIPLOMA IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING.
DIPLOMA IN PETROLEUM REFINING ENGINEERING.
