Developing Electrical & Instrumentation design drawings /documents and providing consultative skills.
Preparing detail engineering drawings of Single Line diagrams, MCC schematic diagram, Termination diagram, Wiring diagram, Cable schedule, Cable tray routine layout, Earthing layout, Lighting layout, Equipment location layout and all electrical related drawings.
Preparing Instrument loop diagrams, Instrument Index, Instrument IO List, Cable Schedule, Instrument location layout, Hook-up drawings, Fire & Gas layouts, Fire & Gas Loop diagrams, Fire zone layouts, PAGA layouts, Telecom system layouts, block diagrams for control panels etc.
Preparing detail drawing of Electrical & Instrumentation above & ground tray drawings,
Cable Sizing calculations for Motors and other electrical loads,
Calculating Multi Cable Transit (MCT) sizing & requirement,
Calculating Illumination requirements for platforms and modules using software,
Coordinating with discipline project engineers/designers and other discipline engineers in the delivery of projects.
Developing designs in electronic formats - AutoCAD.
Implementing hand marked-up changes to drawings.
Maintaining standard drawing templates.
Providing quality assurance reviews and detailed checking support.
Maintaining and monitoring drawing development progress.
Using Autocad Electrical 2009, MicrostationV8, NavisWorks and DIALux Lighting designing Software with Windows-7, VISTA, XP and NT environment for designing and drafting of various drawings in electrical & instrumentation engineering. It applies for AS BUILT drawings also.
