Professional Experience
My main activities in the Institute of Marine Software Engineering includes base-line research, project proposal writing for national investment funds, project management of externally funded research projects, technology scouting, business development, industry trend forecasting, recruitment and team building.
My main role in the past years has been to build the research institute by starting new projects together with the respective building business processes. The largerst project was the setting up of the open source project MARSSA (www.marssa.org) and am a regular contributor to the source code myself. As part of the research work, I have also supervised a Masters Degree Project related to Hybrid Propulsion Systems. Recently, I was responsible together with my team to take a product from conceptual stage to market, through R&I National funding. The project have ranked first in R&I2011 programme and I hold the position of lead researcher.
