Drilling Engineer

Exploration/Development in HPHT, S/J horizontal wells.

• Proficient in well planning, five years of hands on experience in drilling operations – exploration/development/horizontal wells, HPHT and remedial work over operations.
• Worked in a rotational program at Schlumberger to be exposed to various types of drilling programs and challenges globally, communicate with company man on daily drilling reports and forecast of upcoming activities.
• Skilled in optimizing day-to-day drilling well performance, bit performance and estimate of drilling costs. Proficient in understanding rig-hourly-rate, contractor company services and materials cost dynamics
• Served as part of operator team to recommend engineering and operational tactics in various types of drilling challenges including drilling fluid loss in fracture drilling, mud optimization and geomechanical studies, pipe recovery.
• Proficient in contractor operations, detailed engineering and equipment knowledge of service company operations in wireline logging, well cementing, tcp perforations, wireline perforations, mud loggers…etc.
• Strong communication, planning, organization, project management, decision making skills.
• Equally effective working independently or in a team environment, with minimal supervision.
