+July 2011- Present:Sr. Drilling Engineer-Petromacareo Orinoco Heavy Oil Belt, Venezuela.Prepare drilling programs. Involve in drilling operation of production wells with horizontal section from 3000 ft to 3500 ft.
+November 2005-June 2011: Field Engineer II and District Engineer-BJ/PVD JV in Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam. Responsible for client contact and day-to-day technical support to operations for Cementing, Coiled Tubing and Stimulation services on 4-5 offshore rigs at the same time. Designed and executed all types of cementing job from 30” conductors down to 5” liners at 18,000 ft with density range of 12.5-20 ppg, light weight cementing using LW-06 or foam at density from 11 to13 ppg, HTHP cementing up to 390 deg. F and 10,000 psi. Extensive experience in two-stage cementing design/operation with hydraulic stage collar for 7” to 13 3/8” casing, subsea cementing operations and experience in special slurry designs for gas block, foam, deep water, lost circulation or cement plugs/squeezes using retainers, para-bows or packers. Knowledgeable in cement evaluation logs including CBL-VDL, USIT and other open hole and cased hole logs.
Prepared proposals and executed Coiled Tubing works on jack-up, semi-sub rigs for nitrogen lifting, well kick-off or acid stimulation. Strong knowledge and experience of well intervention work on production platforms with limit of crane capacity, deck space and heavy Coiled Tubing equipment (CT length up to 20,000 ft) for sand clean-out jobs in high deviated wells up to 80 degree, Coiled Tubing cementation, acid soaking or matrix stimulation (HCL/HF or nitrified) in selected zones, TCP, drilling with Coiled Tubing, using CT to run logging, shifting or fishing tools… into live wells with high concentration of H2S and CO2.
