PTW CO-ORDINATOR

• Working for commissioning project as Permit Co-Ordinator, reported Commissioning Manager.
• My work included set up of the PTW office at site, Comply with the rules and regulations of Company – Petroleum Development of Oman (P.D.O.). Assign the jobs as per the permit requirements and check the personnel follow the guidelines.
• Responsible for ensuring the appropriate task based Risk Assessment as per Risk Assessment Matrix, HEMP is in place and being implemented. Act as a focal point for all matters relating to PERMIT issue and control.
• Attend work planning, scheduling, SIMOPS meetings with PDO Company’s contractors.
• Carry out regular audits on PDO’s contractor’s offices, warehouses and accommodation & check documents and prepare reports for recommendations.
• Visit the ONPLOT-OFFPLOT sites to observe the safety behaviors and safety culture of work groups and educate.
• Inspect / Check the PTW system, TRIC cards, attend tool box meetings sometimes as well and co-ordinate with Site HSE Advisor for safe work practices and recommendations.
• Support the site safety ‘STOP’ programme by Dupont and encourage personnel for un-safe and safe observations. Select the best card winner, issue prizes and encourage workforce.
• Commitment to train and coach all aspects of PTW Co-Ordination.
• Prepared site specific H2S presentation for work groups and educated the teams about safety aspects working in sour gas environment.
• Put in place H2S site Access Control, once Hydrocarbon was introduced and executed.
• Mentoring operators / technicians and young Omani nationals, per company requirement.
