Conduct off-stream and on-stream inspection on oil refineries, petrochemical plants, Gas treatment plants and oil treatment plants equipments including pressure vessels,Heat exchangers,tanks,PRV and piping systems according to API 510, 653, 570, Company established policies& procedures and issues inspection reports.
Inspects plant stationary equipment by entering into vessels, tanks and towers, during shutdowns, to check condition of equipment. Includes noting observations on cracks, pits, thinning and any other pattern of erosion, corrosion and other interior failure. Makes interpretations of findings, analyses for failure, prepares report and issues recommendation.
Conduct adhoc inspection on static equipmenmts and issue inspection and recommendation report.
Supervision and provision of necessary technical guidance to contractors in Inspection/ NDT/welding/ fabrication activities and other related activities.
Upon failures of equipment, inspect material and assist in the preliminary failure assessments; prepare report and issue recommendations, where applicable, via supervisor for action by relevant departments.
Inspects maintenance and capital project works being carried out in the plant, to ensure that specified maintenance practices and procedures are followed for welding, installation and fabrication as per policy and in compliance with international fabrication codes and standard.
Supervises and co-ordinates contracted NDT team whenever required.
Prepares preliminary reports on inspections and NDT tests, highlighting any abnormalities and issue recommendations via supervisor for action by relevant departments.
Implements inspection recommendation and raise repair Orders by notifications issuing through SAP and then tracking the progress till completion of work.
Issuing of purchasing requisitions for material requisition through SAP work order.
Review & approve WPS & PQR, witness WQT & monitor welder.
Inspection during fabrication and construction of piping, Tanks, pipe lines.
Performing and witnessing for static equipment inspection activities.
Radiographs Interpretation, witness application of NDT and endorse QC reports.
Review test packages, making punch and outstanding lists, witness and approve pre-commissioning cleaning, hydrostatic tests, flushing, and reinstatement.
