Career Overview:

Exposure to various process equipments their operation conditions, process optimization, corrosion control techniques and revamping for the techno-economic feasibility. On the corrosion side well versed with the corrosion techniques / cathodic protection system.

The comprehensive practical and commercial experience since 1994 in every aspect of Cathodic protection systems in the Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, Saline water conversion and Power generation industries, the detail as:-

The structures like storage tanks for water, crude oil and products- internal & under tank bottoms, buried vessels & internal & external, buried cross-country oil & gas transmission pipelines, In plant facilities- generation & processes congested areas- various piping, tanks, buried firewater equipments, Anodic Protection for heat exchangers, coolers with sulphuric acid or caustic solutions, In the oil fields- production Oil, Gas and water well casings, connected flow lines, Gathering stations, Gas and Crude Oil transmission pipelines to tank farms, water transmission pipelines, sewage and treated water pipelines for pre-stressed steel wire in concrete liner & ductile iron pipelines etc.

Rebar in concrete / concrete CP for Seawater cooling system- pump houses, concrete discharge channel, receiving basin, outfall structures, jetties etc.

Offshore-onshore pipelines, Loading-unloading berths, offshore oil well platforms and production well casings, jetties, piles and columns etc.

Various site surveys for onshore & offshore-Soil resistivity and data collection for perfect CP system design, regular monitoring & schedule maintenance-measurement of potential & current, stray current and interference testing, instant On/Off potential survey, current requirement, CIPS & DCVG survey, induced voltage AC mitigation study and mitigation, measurement of anode output current, transformer rectifiers output voltage and current, potential measurement for CP system performance evaluation and integrity.
