Since May 2009 working at SABIC with Saudi Kayan as Mechanical Maintenance Specialist in Gas and petrochemical plant in Saudi Arabia.

Responsibility :
Maintaining and overhauling of Compressors (Centrifugal, Reciprocating), Pumps (Centrifugal-Single and Multistage, Metering etc.), Blowers, and Rotary Feeders etc.

Extensive involvement in the field for trouble shooting, providing technical direction to maintenance team on fault finding diagnoses and repairs to achieve availability and improve integrity of equipments.

Generating reports on equipment failure/ observation and following up on Failure Analysis Report.

Extreme involvement in equipment reliability (RCA, RCM) and scheduling the availability.

Planning, scheduling and supervising of commissioning and routine plant maintenance, preventive maintenance, as well as Equipment Shutdown & Annual Turnaround related jobs.

Ensuring availability of adequate materials, spares, manpower and tools for maint.

Generating weekly and monthly schedule from SAP for preventive and corrective maintenance works orders, maintaining history of equipments and closing of work orders.

Preparation of equipment overhauling and man power reports.

Conduct daily safety toolbox talks, job safety analysis with the team of technicians and field operators for cold and hot work.

Identifying critical spare parts requirement for equipment and prepare spare parts interchange ability records (SPIR), Raise purchase request, technical evaluation of supplier bids and prepare service order.

Having experience in computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). Involved in material master, preparing task list (job steps) for rotating and static equipments.

BE in Mechanical Engineering from NIE, Maharashtra in 2006 with first class

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Technical Examination Board, Gujarat in 1989 with first class.

Reciprocation compressor certified course conducted by Burckhardt Compression.

Centrifugal compressor conducted by Kobe Steel, Japan
Refrigeration (Screw) compressor certified course conducted by THI Refrigeration.

Conveying system certified course conducted by K-Tron Switzerland.

SAP PM certified course by SABIC.

Planning, Scheduling Organizing and Execution of Preventive, Predictive, Corrective and Shutdown Maintenance jobs for Rotary Equipments such as Single & Multi stage compressors (Centrifugal & Reciprocating Compressors) all types of single & multi stage Pumps (Centrifugal, Reciprocating Pumps), Blowers, Centrifuges, Gear Boxes etc.

Maintaining and overhauling of Compressors (Centrifugal, Reciprocating, and Diaphragm), Pumps (Centrifugal-Single and Multistage, Metering etc.), Blowers, and Rotary Feeders etc.

Proactively identifying areas of obstruction / breakdowns through breakdown trend analysis and taking steps to rectify the equipments through application of trouble shooting tools.

Planning :
Scheduling & coordination of the routine jobs on daily, weekly & monthly basis, including the manpower, materials and resource planning.

Co-ordination between Plant & support services like Central Engineering, Inspection & Corrosion & Central Technical services.

Preparation of Maintenance Work Requests with scope & work contents for jobs to be awarded to various contractors.
