Detail design and construction experience in mechanical and piping engineering activities from conceptual to commissioning for brown and green field onshore/offshore Oil and Gas projects, production facilities/plant, gas gathering etc.

• Preparation of supply specification, data sheet, IDS, Requisition package, SDRL and calculations for mechanical equipment
• Review of vendor document and correspondences with vendors and close out technical clarifications with vendors.
• Define data collection parameters that will assist in developing conceptual design options for deferent projects
• Evaluation of vendor un-priced technical proposals ensuring compliance with purchase order and also recommending viable vendor for supply.
• Participates in a team of engineers that ensures company’s standards are regularly UPDATED.
• Prepare and review mechanical project tenders and contract document
• Evaluates and approves projects strategies and execution schedule
• Prepare departmental progress report and presentation to management
• Evaluation, recommendation and follow-on of pre-engineering and engineering concepts, designs and developments for mechanical systems within the company’s production.
• Prepare mechanical equipment procurement requisition package to procurement dept.
• Selection and design of rotating equipment like Pumps, compressors, Instrument Air Package and some static equipment like Tanks, vessels and piping system etc
• Development of fit-for purpose engineering solutions for pressure vessels, heat exchangers, piping, valves and Tanks.
• Provide supports to junior engineers/mechanical system users, review and approve designs for modifications
• Carry out in-house training to junior and trainee mechanical engineers
• Confirm electrical load list with mechanical equipment
• Participate in most project operability, constructability and maintainability reviews like (Design Review, HAZOP, HAZID, PDMS Model Reviews etc.
• Carry out Mechanical Handling Study for mechanical equipment like vessels, Tanks, pigging system piping system.
• Ensure timely close out of all review action items related to mechanical engineering.
• Ensure that the Engineering and O & M aspects of the Project requirements are reflected in the Detailed Design & Procurement Contract enquiry specification.
• Adhered to company HSE regulations, procedures and objectives
• Lead, supervise and guide Mechanical team in execution•
