JOB Profile:

 Handling Trade Finance activities (exports and import).

• To Precompile Terms and Conditions for opening Letter of Credits in favor of Principles and verify Documents arrived along with IBC (Inward Bills for Collection).

• To check the draft letter of credits received from customers from various countries and suggest required amendments in order to secure payment and ensure compliant presentation of documents thereafter.

• Reporting to management on weekly foreign exchange exposure and booking forward deals with banks for selling/buying of required foreign exchange.

• Negotiating with Banks for Discounting of Export tenor Bills and also obtaining letters of comfort for discounting Bills without recourse on drawer.

• Opening Various Letters of Guaranty (Performance Guaranty, Payment Guaranty, Bid Bond…etc) in favor of Principals, suppliers and Tender committees.

 Handling Insurance related activities

• Vetting the Insurance quotations received from insurance companies and negotiating to terms and conditions in favor of company

• Comparing the quotations from insurance companies and advising the management for placing insurance policy as per requirement.

• Preparing documents for insurance claims and follow up for speedy settlement.

• Streamlining various policies as per companies real time requirements

• Accounting and allocating insurance premium to user departments.

 Budgeting, reconciliation and MIS

• Preparing budgets for expenses and revenue for vehicle service departments

• Budget forecasting for new vehicle lease contracts secured by company

• Reconciling actuals with budgets and comparing with previous year figures and ratios

• Preparing monthly MIS for service departments and lease contracts

 Payment related functions

• To authorize release of Freight Invoices, Lashing and packing charges to shipping company for imports and exports consignments.

• To authorize release of Insurance premium installments and renewal premiums as per policy schedules.
