Mechanical Engineer-Piping,Welding/Static and rotating equipment

- Total 7 years experience in mechanical field. -Hands on experience on project management. -Welding / piping experience. -Complete tank construction experience.

Job Responsibilities:


ć Reviewing the technical submittals , compliance statements, FAT and SAT procedures.

ć Reviewing the isometric ,Piping arrangement, general arrangement and equipment drawings .

ć Review the drawings and specifications for all the welding ,NDT ,Heat treatment ,testing, surface preparation and painting requirements before carrying out the job.
ć Carrying out all mechanical equipment installation inspection activities for water treatment plants.(Receiving material, grouting ,installation and alignment).



ć Attending regular meeting with client/contractor and subcontractors to monitor the quality control activities and achieve the target.

ć Review and control of welding procedure specifications and procedure qualification records.

ć Verifying and maintaining calibration records for inspection measuring and test equipments.

ć Witness the procedure qualification tests & welder qualification tests in association with the contractor and Third party.

ć Ensure that the welding parameters are as per approved WPS and PQR.

ć Witnessing the Ultrasonic testing, magnetic particle testing and Dye penetrate testing.

ć Review of R.T,MT,PT and UT reports to ensure Defect/repair marking area.

ć Piping BOQ review for approve the payment work progress submittals.

ć Supervises the selection and requisition of materials to be used for site installation and activities.

ć Carryout the incoming material, fit up/visual welding/lamination(GRP/metallic )inspections.
ć Carrying out the piping and valve hydro test inspections(site/factory).
ć Sequential fabrication and erection inspection as per ITP for the pipe racks.

ć Line checking and list out the punch items based on relevant document(hydro test package clearance).

ć Carryout the complete tank inspections from the material receiving inspections to final hydro test inspections( as per API 650).

ć Carryout the intermittent shop inspection to ensure the painting Quality as per approved specification.

ć Familiar standards AWWA ,ASME B31.3,ASME Sec ix/v, API 650.API 686,API 610.
