Professional Experience
A graduate mechanical engineer with over 9 years experience in equipment design engineering for oil and gas, refinery, petrochemical and fertiliser industries.
Experienced in projects involving front end engineering design package, basic design and detailed engineering. Involved in design, estimation, preparation of specifications and document review for pressure vessels, heat exchangers, columns, reactors and storage tanks related to oil and gas, refinery, petrochemical and chemical plants under various international codes.
Wide exposure to petrochemical, oil and gas and process plant equipments. Fully conversant with various international design codes like ASME, BS, API, TEMA etc.
Duties involve preparation of equipment specifications/requisitions, technical bid evaluation, vendor drawing review, multidiscipline approvals, design reviews, Hazop and IPF participation.
– Design and detail engineering for pressure vessels, heat exchangers, columns, storage tanks and reactors.
– Preparation of engineering specifications and drawing checking for all type of static equipments.
– Experience of wide range of pressure vessels, heat exchangers, columns, storage tanks and reactors.
– Analysis and approval of fabrication drawings.
– Estimation, technical interactions, pre-bid engineering support.
– Conversant with wide ranging International codes like ASME SEC VIII DIV 1 and DIV 2, IS 2825, BS5500,BS EN 14015,TEMA, API650, API620, API 661, Shell DEPs.
