•Supervise, plan and ensure that all the Laboratory activities are carried out in a safe manner and in accordance to HSE and other similar global recognised analytical standards.
•Calibration of all major analytical instruments associated with the treatment processes and products to ASTM, UOP, IP and Vendor supplied standards.
•Analysis of Crude oil samples from the Tank farm storage for API gravity, Sulphur, BS&W, & Salt content.
•Responsible for the functioning & Commissioning works of Laboratory in routine shifts with respect to Sample receipt, Segregation, Analysis , Reporting ,Recording and Updating of results in Laboratory Information and Management System ( Star LIMS 10.0 Version)
•Well-versed with ASTM, IP, UOP, BIS and APHA standards & demonstrated analytical, problem solving, involving 5S, and other organisational ability with strong communication and relationship management skills.
• LIMS Related Activities: Need identification, Data collection & Updation of data’s & providing data for implementation of LIMS. Instrument interfacing & Integration with other MES software.
• Assist & Support to Service Engineer for installation and commissioning of Laboratory instruments.
•Preparation of SOP’s like Table top, Instrument & methods.
•Preparation and maintenance of laboratory related documents.
•Purchase Related Activities: Identification of Laboratory requirements. Creation of Purchase Requirement through SAP against the requirements. Follow up the same with Procurement department.
•Finance related activities: Service entry through SAP. Local purchase of immediate requirements. Budgeting for common and revenue expanses.
•Safety Related Activities: Implementation of best safety practices in Laboratory. Providing inputs for installation of safety system as per OISD guidelines. Preparation of MSDS for all Laboratory chemicals.
