Senior Panel Operator in Egyptian Liquefied Natural Gas Project

Responsible of processing the plant units from DCS safely.(Front end (Gas sweetening) – Liquefaction – Refrigerant Nuovo Pignone Compressors –Storage area -jetty)

Job Description in ELNG:
- Commissioning and start up of train one and two liquefied natural gas plant(Optimized Concophillips cascade technology and Bechtel main contractor).
- Responsible of processing the plant units from DCS safely.
(Front end (Gas sweetening) – Liquefaction – Refrigerant Nuovo Pignone Compressors –Storage area -jetty)
- Plant utilities:
(Power generation – Air service compressors - Nitrogen generation– RO unit – Waste water treatment)
- Dealing with different mechanical equipments:
(Compressors – pumps – chillers – fans – fractionation columns – heaters).
- Familiar and respond to plant trouble shootings.
- Deal with PFD, PID and flow charts.
- Prepare and update procedures for equipments isolation, flushing (if needed), and nitrogen purge then handover for maintenance jobs.
- Act as field team leader in various total plant shutdowns for example responsible for preparation vessels for three years and five years internal inspection, prepare for units modification according to approved MOC, overall maintenance for the Nuovo Pignone – Gas turbines frame 5D (Mark 6) and Nuovo Pignone – Refrigerant Centrifugal compressors.
- Act as DCS operator in the total plant shutdowns responsible for shutdown the plant from the control room safely and prepare the plant units for the plant shutdown activites as the turnround schedule then start up the plant safely .

- Responsible for operating the plant from DCS.
- Experience on 2 types of DCS:
a. Fisher Rousmount Delta V.
b. Honey Well TDV -3000.
- Operating of all rotating equipment like Pumps& Vans
- Operating of compressors, Blowers, Mixers, Bucket Elevators, Bag filters,
Screw convyors & pneumatic system.
- Operating of furnace reactor two types (Tread & Carcass).
- Preparation of Oil batches & additive solution & catalysts)
- Adjusting of quality as per ASTM (American Sociaty for Training & material).

BSC, Science, Chemistry, Alexandria University, 1998.

- IHRDC: Integrated LNG Training Program (Duration 6 months).
- Bechtel: LNG plant start up and operation (Duration 5 days).
- GTI: LNG plant operator training program.
-Concophillips: Design basis.
- Nuovo Pignone: Gas turbines frame 5D (Mark 6).
- Nuovo Pignone: Refrigerant Centrifugal compressors.
- SIEMENS: Gas turbine generators GT35C2.
- DuPont: STOP training.
- IHRDC: Gas testing (recommended to be authorized gas tester).
- Emergency response plane.
