• Monitoring and controlling process parameters in PLC. Take timely remedial actions in case of process alarms or plant upsets due to instrument/equipment failure, ensuring safety of plant & personnel.
• Take quick & safe corrective actions in case of process upsets or emergency situations in line with standing instructions
• Safely handling raw materials.
• Routinely monitoring the various operation in the Plant, look out for any abnormalities, fault or leak and report immediately to Production manager for initiating its repair work.
• Monitoring fire & gas panel and interact with field operators and fire control center during failure of any plant protection system.
• Initiating work request for maintenance in case of equipment/instrument failure in co-ordination with field operators & shift supervisor.
• To maintain effective communication with seniors, engineering staff to ensure that accurate condition of field.
• To prepare the plant / equipments for maintenance ensuring adherence to standards.
• Carry out performance studies of Plant and prepare relevant data/reports.
• Suggests modifications for improvement of overall Plant efficiency.
• To prepare various key Performance Indicator commitment checklists for management perusal.
• To check process parameters and coordinate with Engineers to correct any deviations.
• Worked on unit operations like Vacuum distillation, Atmospheric distillation, Evaporation, steam jet ejector, waste heat reboiler, Bubble cap tray column(Reactive distillation),Absorption Towers and Dryers, Heat exchangers, Air compressors, chillers, various types of pumps,Blowers,stationary equipments like piping, valves.
• Experience in addition & separation of so3 gas process.

Pre –Commissioning/Commissioning Activity:

• Active participation in, Pre-commissioning and commissioning work, start up and shutdown activities.
• Look after column and vessel confines space activity, vacuum test.
• Air/steam blowing, Vessel internal checks and water flushing out of all equipments.
• Participation in Hydro testing, pigging and pneumatic testing of pipelines.
• Loop checking, cardboard blasting, Nitrogen purging and Leak testing of pipelines and equipments.

• Completed Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering (B.Tech) from Sastra University, Thanjore, India, in 2006.
• Completed diploma in chemical technology from State board of technical education-chennai, India, in 2001
• Completed Secondary & higher secondary school certificate from Mumbai Thandai hans rover school perambalur, India.
