APC Advanced Process Controll Engineer

2006 - 2012 Api Raffineria di Ancona S.p.A. – Advanced Process Control Technologist
I work as project engineer during the implementation of the advanced process control application for the desolforation units using Aspentech DMCPlus software.
I work as application engineer for the implementation of advanced process control application to Splitter Gasoline Unit, Splitter C3C4 Unit and Topping Unit using Yokogawa software (AIDA, SMOC).
I work as application engineer for the implementation and the manteinance of about 40 inferential estimators such as:
• ASTM-D86 curves for gasoline, kero, light gasoil and heavy gasoil for Topping and Visbreaking plants (i.e.: from each curve it is possible to determine IBP, 5% ... 50% 90%, FBP estimated values)
• ASTM-D2887 curves for LVGO Vacuum3.
• % of benzene in reformed gasoline from Platforming unit.
• Other quality estimators.

I work as project manager for the translation of several software, used by the Scheduling and Planning refinery department, from IBM Application System environment to Microsoft VBA Access environment.

I work as a Project Engineer during the implementation of the Real Time Process Monitoring System; this system shows aggregate information, such as plant balance and main plant parameters, in both tabular and graphical synoptic format, for most of the refinery plant units.
I work as a Project engineer during the implementation of Datrec (Technip) concerning of plant data reconciliation application for many refinery production units.
