Electrical Installation Design:
This includes service supply and internal distribution. The design includes indoor substation design, solar power system design, designing of main circuit, sub circuit, deciding of cable and switch board size etc. The software used for the design are SIMARIS, AutoCAD, Matlab and LabVIEW.
Earthing & Safety Measures Design:
This includes earthing system and protection and safety system design The design of earth current, earthing cable size, lightning protector, fuse, circuit breakers, ground-fault circuit interrupters etc. are done.
Design of Lighting System for Department and Virtual Lab:
Optimal and energy efficient lighting using LED lights are carried out. For the Virtual lab the lighting have to be controlled from far places. The luminance and light locations are controlled by means of a micro controller so that it can be controlled by means of internet.
