Employed as a Mechanical engineer for a FUSION and Inter Trade Ireland Programme to research and manage new business opportunities. Project managed the development of ETTS.
• Oversee the efficient and optimum running of the retreading technology. Maintain all equipment ensuring efficiencies are kept within tolerance levels. Fault analysis on any issues that arise.
• Business development: developing the customer relationships and liaising with customers and suppliers
• Researching market needs and requirements, optimum control of stocks, purchases and negotiating with suppliers.

• Develop feasibility study and business plan
• Research and develop meetings with government bodies to secure funding
• Research and procurement of most suitable and competitive machinery
• Develop scope and project plan for setup of new business

• Developed Business idea for tyre retreading and compiled a feasibility study and business plan
• Streamlined successful implementation of production tracking system for tyres and stocks.
• Drafted and implemented a QA and QC system approved by the National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI) for Eco Tyre Tread Solutions (ETTS).

As a qualified Mechanical Engineer who has accumulated extensive experience in Project Management, I feel that my qualifications would greatly suit a management or supervisory role. Over the last three years with Erne Concrete Pumping (ECP) and Eco Tyre Tread Solutions (ETTS), I have project managed the start-up of ETTS, from the feasibility study, business plan and project scope through to the procurement of the machinery from Italy, plant commissioning and recruitment. My role then developed to Engineering Manager and Technical Sales where I oversaw new business development, purchasing & sales, technical engineering and customer issues. My time at ECP & ETTS greatly enhanced my organisation and analytical skills through budgeting, forecasting and fault finding. Also as Project Manager my duties included project set-up, scheduling, delivery, commissioning and budgeting
I am eager to develop my career in the Engineering or Project Management arena based in the Middle East.
