Starting on 07th November 1988 to 31st December 1999
In the year 1988, I started as an Electrician in the Regency Inter-continental Hotel , Bahrain, Manama until 1991. In November of 1991 I promoted to the position of Electronic Technician and finally in December of 1995 I was promoted to the Engineering Supervisor until December 31st of 1999. During Electrician… that period I was install using diagrams ,three phase electrical works, electrical control panels & distribution boards. Electrical building wiring, three phase star delta motors & starters, repairing and installation. Dimmer control panels, kitchen equipments, Laundry equipments and all type of electronic repairs. During Electronic Technician.. Repairing hotel televisions, Video, Fax, amplifiers, audio mixers, Equalizers, Audio setups, Dimmer panels, electronic laundry and kitchen equipments, all type of micro wave & convection ovens. Fire alarm wiring, fault finding, fire alarm control panel repairs, fire alarm handling. Installing & handling hotel in house movie, in house music, paging system. All kinds of audio visual equipments, conference & translating systems, Stage lighting systems, Audio Visual projection room operations. Faults finding projection rooms. Slide, overhead & video projectors with banqueting function events etc. During Engineering Supervisor… supervising the engineering team. Monitor and control consumption of materials. Set up, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot teleconferencing
equipment, multimedia devices, televisions, monitors, projectors, recording
equipment, speaker sets, digital cameras/camcorders, and other presentation
equipment.
Receive and respond to incoming calls, pages, and or e-mails regarding AV
Software / hardware problems.
Perform onsite analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex AV hardware
problems for a variety of end users, and recommend and implement corrective
solutions, including offsite repair as needed.
Document instances of AV equipment failure, repair, installation, and removal.
Build and maintain a spare parts inventory for all AV equipment.
Handle incoming booking requests for AV equipment and setup.
Troubleshoot AV issues using the appropriate testing tools; make repairs as
