Offshore Operations Supervisor – (S-5) Kanoo Shipping Agencies Division, THE KANOO GROUP LLC, November 2006 – Present

• Supervising a 24/7 shifting schedule of Operations – making timely adjustments when necessary, and providing support/guidance to the team on call
• Handling Major Principals – Coordinating Husbandry Requirements, Berthing, STS, Bunkering, Deslopping, All Kinds of Inspections, Various Repairs, etc
• Tasked to handle New and Critical Clients in order to achieve first impressions positively, then employ a baby sit approach to ensure services are up to the mark
• Answers all E-mail communication (Timeliness/KPI involved) – acting on all client requirements/vessel movements and properly distributes the information to subordinates or escalate to higher management if review is required
• Making timely follow ups with principals making sure that pre-funding is received upfront according to PFDA submitted before deployment of services
• Attending in-house meeting with Superintendents/VIPs to discuss vessel requirements and service improvements
• Properly assess Client Feedbacks/Appreciations/Complains and cascade them to Quality Department for Service evaluation
• Initiate responses/proper actions to correspondence issued by Harbor Master’s Office or Marine Office – escalating to higher management if necessary
• Managing offshore launch schedules cost effectively, utilizing Company boats in the most revenue rewarding way
• Randomly checking launch utilization throughout the day making sure Company Boats are used efficiently
• Regularly updating operation procedures / working instructions according to client requirement, port regulations and improvement processes
• Preparing boat utilization/downtime reports, launch schedules, incident reports, etc
