• Responsible for the design, acquisition, processing, interpretation, modeling and subsurface mapping for 2D and 3D land seismic surveys and reporting/presenting results and giving recommendations
• Interpretation of seismic data, depth conversion, tying well data and producing detailed target horizon surfaces
• Management of land seismic operations, drilling operations and coal seam permeability testing
• Development of survey design plans for surveyors and landholders using ArcGIS technology
• Using ArcGIS tools to link and execute seismic profiles, borehole data etc. from geological/geophysical database.
Key Achievements:
• Illuminating and identifying structural features that would impact on underground Longwall mining techniques, resulting in changes in mine planning to ensure continuous future production
• Providing investigations into the use of various seismic sources in environmentally sensitive areas and source noise levels in urban area investigations.
