Position: Site Supervising Boilermaker on Shiploaders

Responsibilities:
• Knowledge and understanding of boilermaking legal requirements
• Knowledge of welding
• Knowledge of measuring
• Provide boilermaker manufacturing, installation, repairs, replacement,
maintenance services and administration
• Read and interpret engineering drawings
• Experience in specialist measuring equipment and hand tools
• Effective administration skills
• Equipment is maintained at all times and defects reported to the relevant department
• Ensure effective teamwork by establishing interaction between members
• Provide relevant and specialised technical support to production team
• Knowledge of safe working procedures
• Ensure and comply with safety standards guidelines, policies and procedures
• Project was to assist FLSmidth with construction Shiploaders in Jordanie (close to Egypt)
• Salary was based on an hourly rate of R190 per hour as well as US$ 40.00 daily allowance and weekly 150 Jordanian Dollars; medical and insurance
