Mechanical Engineer in a strategic project called “Material Database Management – ITALCEMENTI GROUP It aims to:
• Making physical existence check for all the spare parts in the warehouses to accurately determine the scope of the project
• Assisting in creation of classification tree for the spare parts involved in the project scope
• Classifying spare parts according to their commodity, and identifying whether spare part is common or specific
• Preparing enrichment dictionaries for all commodities , starting from commodities include higher number of items
• Enriching spare parts according to the proposed dictionaries and specification sheets
• Translate Arabic description of spare parts to English
• Uploading these data on the sap
• Creating new items with the new standard description according to a new software system
• New requested materials is created according to the new standards of the project
• Review purchase requisitions with missing information in spare parts description and coordinate with the procurement department to furnish them through suppliers while ordering
• Adding the information provided by procurement to the description on SAP after approval by the plant’s technical staff
