Professional Experience
Rutgers University - New Brunswick, NJ
Qatar Project August 2012 - Current
•Collaborated with Qatar University to develop models for liquid nature gas (LNG) system.
•Investigate how the leakage of oil, valve failure or the corrosion of storage tank affect the operation of the whole system.
•Pipeline mechanical behavior is studied in which different material is considered. Different scenarios are considered as the environment where the pipeline exists.
NSF Grant June 2010 - Current
•Develop an integrated quantitative methodology to jointly optimize system quality and reliability.
•Investigate system Reliability with multiple components in which multiple failure processes are dependent and competing.
•Condition based maintenance policy age replacement policy and preventive maintenance policy are chosen for different systems.
•Utilize a multiple objective optimization algorithm to determine optimal maintenance policy to minimize cost rate.
•Explore and implement modern concepts of multi-objective optimization for manufacturing and maintenance of advanced devices.
•Research simulation-based optimization methods are applied to structure design problem to determine the optimal shape, size and topology layout .
