• Created necessary reporting / systems to monitor storage costs, utilization, and demurrage exposure for the Groups leased/owned terminals in order to assist on management/commercial decisions.
• Actively subleased the tanks depending on market conditions and in-house requirements – achieved to reduce the global storage cost by approx. $25mil per year.
• Created a system to monitor and pursue claims related to oil losses against terminals or through insurance channels – estimated $5mil
• Successfully negotiated new contracts to minimise risk exposure
• Developed a training package aimed to guide new operators on storage related matters
