Job Responsibilities
• Organizing and maintaining a central facility for the purchase of all technical electrical & instrumentation products / services and contracts on a best price / best quality basis
• Enquiries resolving, preparing and process requisitions, purchase orders, goods receiving vouchers and invoices for purchases.
• Reviewing all contracts / agreements to achieve best price / best quality purchasing
• Negotiating lowest possible stock material acquisition cost, prices and terms of products with suppliers, purchase and sales engineering.
• Prioritize and manage the daily flow of incoming orders via e-mail, fax, phone and walk in.
• Getting quotation, comparing proposals and technical specifications of products, processing orders and purchasing of electrical & instrumentation field products
• Ensure materials purchased or supplied are in accordance with specifications
• Ensure accuracy of replenishment of system data i.e (lead time, forecasting, standard package and buy multiples)
• Ensure the smooth supply of materials, consumables and equipment to company
• Stock procurement / replenishment for assigned branches and suppliers
• Establishing terms, pricing, quality requirements, delivery and contracts
• Maintaining records of supplier contracts, agreements, goods ordered received.
• Assist with the coordination and tracking of returning surplus materials from project sites and the ware house.
• Managing vendor relationships and building partnership with suppliers
