Materials coordinator/storeman

Work as Materials Man/Storekeeper in the following capacity: Respond to materials request (MR)/equipment from different departments on the Barge, Verification of materials loaded and offloaded from supply vessels, Receive, Issue and Maintain an accurate inventory of all Materials on the Barge, Materials Receipt handling and control to ensure all materials are adequately accommodated for, Reconciling Material receipts with Manifest and Reporting any discrepancies noted on timely Manner, Space management on the Barge deck and House Keeping of the various warehouses, Implement safe working procedures for handling of materials, storage of spares and a safe working practice, Maintain accurate documentation of materials on timely Manner, Reconciling Material receipts with Manifest and Reporting any discrepancies noted on timely Manner, Make recommendation on status of stock in company store to appropriate authority, Assign Stock Labels/Reference Number to new Materials Received ,Update system with new materials received, Preparing of Boat Load - Out (back load),Coordinate the Barge materials requisitions, organize and control the Warehouse and Maintain the warehouse inventory levels within established guidelines, Ensure that all materials-lifting, mooring and relative materials/equipments and devices are calibrated and certified(Issuance of certificate) by appropriate authority as when due, Materials Receipt handling and control to ensure all materials are adequately accommodated for, Assist the Chief Officer and the Health, Safety and Environment(HSE) Officer on HSE matters such as coordination of safety orientations and meetings. Assures that established safe working policies are followed, Inspection of all lifting, mooring and scaffolding equipments are properly maintained for efficient operations; report any defect to the chief engineer for appropriate action.
