DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensures adequate work schedules are issued to them as at when needed and to promote proper equipment preventive maintenance follow up.
- Ensures that the adequate materials are used in carrying out the equipment services to achieve workability and reliability.
- Inspects the Assistant Maintenance Engineers on site work acts and make sure that proper work is done and as when due.
- Compiles the site reports as at when needed and ensures submission at the right time.
- Organizes seminars and workshops for the site Engineers, Mechanics and Technicians in the region to renew in them all they needed to do to improve their skills and achieve good Job quality.
- Coordinates works on site to meet general manufacturer’s services goals on more complicated equipment on the job sites.
- Diagnoses the Equipment on site electronically personally to avoid miss calculation on follow ups to enable me achieve prediction goals on each equipment.
- Preview and correct reports from the sites before sending to the management for final documentation.
- Participate and provide solution during the procurement of the materials used for the job as regards to meeting the equipment manufacture’s specifications.
- Ensures adequate provision of tools and workshops required for the team to do the work.
- Introduces new skills and methods or materials as the manufactures specified to achieve our reliability and availability aims, especially when the equipment arrives newly to maintain follow ups.
- Coordinate the suppliers on material procurement issues.
- Balancing the relationships between the Top Management and the site workshop management (lower) on maintenance job issues.
- Attends Meetings at the head office and implements the new innovations to my region as discussed and agreed in the meeting.
- Attending safety tours to ensure that safety rules and regulations are complied at job sites at all times especially in the aspect of house keeping in both the static and the mobile workshops.
