QA/ QC Lead / Manager - ASME /NBBI Authorized Inspector

To take up QA/QC lead role in leading EPMC/ PMC or Owner. Have adequte knowledge in Static and rotating equipments inspection and testing. Good at QA/QC activities and Audits

Responsibilities & Role as Sr. QA Engineer:

1. Auditing & surveillance of ASME authorized Code Shops for compliance of QCM and ASME requirements and Inspection of new construction code stamped equipment¡¦s.
Auditing and surveillance of NB authorized code shops for compliance to QCM and NBIC requirements and Inspection of In-Service code stamped equipment¡¦s.
2. Appraise product quality in accordance with the Project quality Plan, Test Plan and determine conformity & non-conformity and Carryout audits to assess the effectiveness of quality systems outlined in Project quality plan, Project Audit Schedule & ITP.
3. Vendor Assessments, Evaluations and QMS audits of manufacturing facilities. Continuous monitoring of vendor performance and developing them.
4. Expediting, Manpower planning, Resources allocation and Control of team members.
6. In depth knowledge in Heavy Engineering Fabrication & Welding, NDE and Lead Auditor (QMS, OH & Safety, ASME and PED).
7. Experience in Inspection, welding, and Non-Destructive testing of all types of
Static Equipments i.e. Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Piping, Storage Tanks, Boilers, Fired Heaters and Structures for Oil & Gas and Energy sector.
Rotating Equipment¡¦s i.e. Steam Turbines, Turbo Compressors, Pumps, Gear Boxes, Lube oil Systems, Bowl Mill equipment¡¦s, etc.
Raw Materials i.e. Ferrous & Non Ferrous Pipe, Tubes (Drill, Casing, Tubing, Green, etc.) , Forgings, Plates, Castings, Valves, Filters, Piping accessories for Oil & Gas, Petrochemical Plants, Fertilizer, Power Plants.
Inspection of Piping as per B 31.1 & 31.3 and Pipeline inspection as per API 1104.
11. Familiar with all common welding process like SMAW, GTAW, SAW and FCAW. Familiar with wide range of material including Carbon Steel, Low Alloy steel and Stainless Steels etc.
12. Interpretation of RT films and monitoring of other NDE practices (LPI, MPI, UT, ECT, ToFD)
14. Familiar with inspection and testing of Rotating equipment¡¦s like Run out/ Clearances checks, Dynamic Balancing, Performance Testing, Mechanical Run (No Load) Tests, etc.
15. Reviewing repair procedures, inspection methodologies, Inspection categorization plans.

Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering with Distinction (71%), Andhra University, Visakhapatnam Post Graduate Diploma in Operations Management (PGDOM) in 1st Class, IGNOU, New Delhi

Professional Qualifications and Authorizations:
a) ASME Authorized Inspector (¡§IS & A¡¨), Authorized by The National Board of Boilers and Pressure Vessels Inspectors (NBBI), Ohio, USA (Commission No 13705 IS & A).
b) ASNT Level ¡V II in RT, UT, MPT, LPI from, TWI, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
c) CSWIP-Radiography Interpreter (CSWIP-RI-L2) and CSWIP 3.0 from, TWI, Malaysia.
d) ASNT Level ¡V II in ToFD as per LR written practice from TWI, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
e) IRCA Certified QMS & OHSA Lead Auditor, Bureau Veritas certification (ISO 9000 & 18000)
f) Authorized for carrying of inspection as per PED 97/23/EC per PER 1999
g) Authorized by MOM, Singapore for carrying Pressure Vessel & Boilers Inspection
h) Authorized as Internal safety auditor, Holds certificate from IOSH, Cambridge, UK.
