Eighteen years as a professional in Safety and Environmental Services. Including; Safety Management, Oil and Gas construction, (pipelines) Environmental Compliance, Emergency Response, Safety Training, Soil Remediation and HAZMAT Management. My skills and qualifications based upon provision of Safety and Environmental services for eight years under direct contracts to the oil and gas industries with in the Arabian Gulf as well as seven additional years in extensive oil major EHS supporting subcontracts for the same and thee years as Department Manager, in Kuwait for Safety and Environment. I have provided Safety planning and programs for contract bids, monitor contract performance for work with such Oil majors as; BP, KOC, KNPC, Chevron, Mobile, PETRONAS, Abu Dhabi National Oil Company, BAPCO, GASPROM. Petroleum Development of Oman, Conoco, ARAMCO, Dragon Oil, Vitol and Shell. I have responded to over twenty seven major oil spills and was Incident Commander under operations executed to ICS safety standards. Was the Deputy Operations for IRC Spill Response and Safety Operations for the Southern Oil Company of Iraq during the last gulf war in Basra and at the Mina al Bakker terminal. Acted as Safety officer for PETRONAS in Turkmenistan, performed risk analysis, and Safety training for their new site. In addition, I have over ten years experience in Safety operations as a US Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal Expert (EOD) and as a Salvage & Diving Officer aboard salvage and rescue vessels.

LEAD HSE ENGINEER – 2011 TO PRESENT

Providing Project Management (PMC) Services to the Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) for Health Safety and the Environment on major Construction projects. Currently, working on major crude oil pipe line (TL4 30”), of 135 Kilometers from North Kuwait to North Tank Farm. Duties include; managing of Major EPC contractor HSE’s program, oversight of all EHS MS KOC procedure implementation, development of a contract wide safety program, implementation of a safety culture, coordination of near miss and incident documentation, lesions learned/root because analysis reports as well as routine reports into KOC’s HSE live. Also, responsible for elements of AMEC’s corporate HSE programs and support of AMEC’s Emergency Action Team (ERT). Providing to contractors frequent reviews on lifting plans, HSE training programs, Contractor emergency action drills and coordination and support for their Safety awards program. Oversee a staff of HSE Officers and Engineers from AMEC, EPC Contractor and Second Tier contractors of approximately 30 professionals.
