Technical Work Experinces & Skills

Transmission Field :
• OPTICAL FIBER :
- Optical fiber splicing supervision
- Familiar with OTDR ,cabels ,connectors and ODFs
- Familiar with optical fiber and data Test equipments
(optical power meter, optical attenuator, optical source , data tester).
- Optical power budget calculations.

• SDH/PDH:
- SDH/PDH large scale network implementation (survey, installation, configuration, FAT and SAT).
- SDH/PDH Network Management System (NMS) installation and commissioning.
- understanding of protection mechanisms employed with SDH networks MSP, SNCP.
- Operations and Maintenance of SDH networks
- Familiar with Ethernet over SDH (EoSDH )
- Telephony system installation and commissioning (NEC PABX) and integration with EoSDH .
- The ability to produce documentation of the testing activity

1- AIN SOKHNA 500 KV TELECOM PROJECT Egypt :

The project is to implement SDH/PDH (Optical fiber ) and Power Line Communication (PLC) network and its management system for 500 kv network (Ain Sokhna – Tebin –Tebin South –Abu Zabal )
Main contractor: ABB
SDH/PDH equipment used is ABB equipments (FOX515 and FOX660)
PLC equipment used is ABB equipments (ETL640) and ABB NMS

2- AIN SOKHNA 500 KV SUBSTATION PROJECT Egypt :

Design and implementation of substation automation system for medium and load center level.

3- 10 DCC PROJECT Libya:
The project is the largest optical communication network in the region to install telecommunication network for SCADA system that control all Libya electrical substation (more than 2000 substation and divide the network to 10 control center.
Main contractor: ABB-Switzerland
(FOX515D , FOX515X), ABB NMS, FOXMANCT software and Cisco routers and switches .
4- 400 KV PROJECT Libya:
Survey, design, install, commissioning SDH/PDH (Optical fiber )telecommunication network with NMS for the 400 kv network-20 stations.

5- Mellita PROJECT Libya:

Survey for MW links of offshore Meleta sites

6- Upper Egypt project Egypt:

The project scope is to design and implement communications network (optical fiber and
MW) for 220 substation to be controlled from two control centers.
