Assistant Project Engineer

• Assisting with engineering cost estimates for development of new or redesigned products
• Communicate effectively with vendors for the supply of third party equipment
• Ensuring compliance with company and industry specifications ISO 9001 & API 6A relating to quality, design and build of equipments
• Assisting design engineer in checking and developing design models depending upon the clients requirements
• Assisting the manufacturing unit to achieve the quality in the finished products and ensure tasks are delivered on time
• Preliminary reviews of specifications provided by clients and issue of clarifications
• Preparation and collation of tender documents in accordance with clients requirements
• Identify initial project risks on tenders prior to proceeding the bid activities and liaise with the clients throughout the bid process
• Assisting the applications specialist with the creation of layouts of possible designs and selecting the one best suited to meet all specifications, codes and regulations
• Assisting the applications specialist in compiling original design and cost to build documents, BOM's, final technical or commercial proposals
• Assist with site surveys as appropriate to support bid work
• Reviewing Non-Conformance Reports and working with respective teams in
determining the outcome and solutions
• Assisting sales with customer problems and requirements such as pre-qualification Documents and bids
• Liaise with clients on the outcome of proposals and record all commercial and technical feedback received
• Advising the customer and field personnel on the technical issues which may affect during the Installation process
• Performing on special projects as advised by Operations/Engineering Manager
• Assisting the engineering manager in review of product design manual in every 6 months
• Developing of Operation & Maintenance manuals as advised by the operations manager
