Nature of work as a Stress Analysis Engineer:

Stress Analysis:

• Stress Analysis calculations using Caesar II Ver (4.5, 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3), Caepipe (ver 6.4) , Auto pipe XM.
• Analysis of critical systems including Pumps, Compressors, Heat-Exchangers, Columns, Air Fin coolers, Tanks, Spheres, Flare Stack etc.
• Analysis of Jacketed Lines, Underground lines, Cryogenic lines (starting from temperatures -196 deg C) and critical lines up to temperatures 360 deg C.
• Man-hour estimation for pipe stress analysis of projects for bidding.
• Preparation of springs, Expansion joints, Flexible metallic hose and Slide Plate specifications.
• TBA for the springs, Expansion joints, Slide plates and Flexible metallic hoses.
• Well versed with ASME B 31.3 Process Piping Standard.
• Flange leakage, Nozzle Pro & WRC Knowledge, Rack lines etc.
• Preparation of Critical Line List- Critical Stress Systems as per Design Basis.
• Preparation of Stress Design Basis as per Client’s Design Engineering Practice.
• Visual Analysis of small bore lines using nomogram.
• Maintaining a proper progress for the project and at desired level of productivity.
• Site Visits for Support audit prior to start-up.
