E&I Engineering Superintendent and Coordinator

Management of E&I projects; Mentoring on E&I industrial sector putting in place all my professional experience.

He prepared maint activities in the Elect Distribution Network of the Plant.
Prepare maint specs for elect equipment and in checking activities performed by contractors.
Since 1995 he is as coordinator of activities of four experienced technicians for:
-Design of new electrical, field instrumentation and DCS systems;
-Modification of existing E&I systems to improve performance from the economic point of view;
-Arrangement of Requests for Investment and preparation of budget;
-Arrangement of technical documentation (Service and Material Requirements Specifications) for request of offer to external supplier;
-Execution of approved (by Management Board) projects;
-Analysis of fault regarding E&I equipment and preparation a report with proposed mitigation actions;
-Execution of periodic checks on electrical equipment requested by law (earthing, lightning protection system, etc.);
-Updating of maintenance specifications of E&I equipment.
-Economical and technical Management of Power Supply Contract of the plant;
-Preparation of Safety meetings of the Section in accordance with Safety Dept regarding last recommendations by Italian and International legislation. Analysis of every kind of incident and near miss happened both Eurallumina (Italy) and QAL (Australia) plants.
-Representative of Eurallumina S.p.A. in Energy Committee of Association of Sardinian (Regional) Industries;
-Technical member of Electrical Task Group that manages massif investments (about AUD 500M) of Electrical infrastructure in the one of the world largest Alumina plants in Australia (QAL).
-Technical consultant for U.C. Rusal to do a survey on electrical infrastructure in the Ewarton plant of Windalco,in Jamaica.
-E&I superintendent for U.C. Rusal in the team to study conditions for restarting of Kirkvine plant of Windalco – in Jamaica.
-E&I superintendent for U.C.Rusal to identify weak points in the electrical infrastructure and to study a new system to interface internal electrical network at 60Hz with external national grid at 50Hz for the Alpart plant in Jamaica.
-Electrical consultant for U.C.Rusal to give technical support to electrical maintenance activities of Friguia plant in Guinea (Africa).
-Relationship with Insurance company regarding E&I issues.
-Design of renewable energy systems (wind and photovoltaic) and preparation of feasibility studies for industry.

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering at Cagliari University (Italy).

Membership of Italian Engineering Association.
