Role: Engineering Intern
• Responsibilities included initial checking of the fineness / size of the crushed raw materials before they were mixed with addition of minerals such as Silica and Iron and in some cases Alumina oxide.
• Making sure that the raw material was heated to a required temperature before it could be fed to the rotary kiln.
• Checking the operative angles and the temperatures for the Rotary kiln.
• Before the final phase of cement production, the material is re-checked so as to make sure of the size of the coal is within the range.

Evaluation & designing of refinery configuration - Indian Institute of Petroleum, Dehradun, India June 2007 – Aug 2007
• Worked with the petroleum refining engineering team to drive several equipment projects and development of test methods.
• Worked on software ProPlan 3.6 that includes designing and comparing the different properties of oil from different organizations.
• Performed several tests on properties of gasoline and compared those values with our values.
• Performed quality assurance tests over gasoline products.
• Softwares Used : Proplan 3.6 and Microsoft Office.

Enhanced Coal Bed Methane Recovery Aug 2009 – June 2010
ECBM done with the principle of Multicomponent potential theory of adsorption MPTA).Ideal adsorbate solution theory explained with its differences with MPTA.
Asymptotic adsorption equation derived for multicomponent adsorption close to dew points.Final equation derived to calculate the Total number of moles of adsorbates adsorbed.
