SEDIMENTOLOGIST/STRATIGRAPHER
-Specialized on describing Cretaceous, Carboniferous and Devonian clastics systems from cores. Exposed to various depositional systems including shallow/deep marine, tidal/estuarine, fluvial, aeolian, and glacial systems. Assigned facies and depositional environments and involved in building depositional models that feed reservoir numerical modeling and simulation.
-Additional experience includes producing cross sections, regional mapping, and creating various types of maps (such as isopach and porosity maps). Periodically I worked as operations geologist as business needs required.

OPERATION GEOLOGIST
- Starting with prognosis of prospect wells in development fields by proposing the best locations for drilling, integrating geological and geophysical data, constructing stratigraphic cross sections, conducting general structural analysis, predicting reservoir quality, and risk evaluation. Involved in providing logging and coring requirements and assist the RE and DE team in the pre-spud meeting.
- Monitored day-to-day operations when drilling starts and assist the driller in any changes in geologic tops and update grids accordingly. Used OpenWorks software in planning trajectories and proposing kickoff point, entry point, and total depth point. Heavily exposed to geosteering horizontal (LWD) wells and chasing good porosity to ensure maximum reservoir contact. Constantly updating the driller and the reservoir engineer with any trajectory adjustments as drilling progresses.
- After reaching total depth and following logging operations, a final post report is delivered to evaluate the all drilling aspects and reservoir quality.
- Worked as a field geologist that required dealing with multiple reservoirs at the same time including both carbonates and clastics systems. The reservoir grids are constantly updated as new wells are drilled to ensure better control on structural framework and depth prediction.

WELLSITE GEOLOGIST
- examined and described formation cuttings and cores in Ghawar field and various other locations, experienced in recognizing formations from cuttings and correlating to nearby wells and provide casing and coring points.
