Health Officer – Injury Management (Ambulance service)

1. Provide a safe Emergency transport of all work related emergency to the nearest accredited hospital in a timely manner.
2. Ensure that all emergency medical transport is coordinated with the company’s communication protocol.
3. Monitor and facilitate the monthly schedule of ambulance preventive maintenance.
4. Monitor the maintenance fuel usage of the ambulance.
5. Maintain the completeness and orderliness of the ambulance equipments.
6. Improve the company’s emergency medical and first aid response by ensuring that:
a. All medical emergency/first aid response equipments are operational,
b. The compliance of all departments in first aid preparedness.
c. Facilitate training of company's first aid response team.
7. Support the Health and Safety Department's programs.
8. Implement corrective actions according to prescribed company standards.
9. Participate in the incident investigation involving employees, contractors and visitors.
10. Support and actively participate in the monthly review of Company’s Risk Register.
11. Facilitate quarterly review of medical emergency response plans.
12. Keep an up to date Injury Register.
13. Submit accomplishment report every month
