ENGINEER – III (May 2008- Present)

Pak Arab Refinery Limited (PARCO), Mahmood Kot, District Muzaffargarh. (A joint venture between Pakistan and Abu Dhabi)

PROJECT EXPERIENCE: (March 2009- Present)

•2-years AABU project (Feb-2011 To Present) Erection, Installation, Pre-commissioning and commissioning of PARCO Asphalt Air Blowing Unit with EPC contractor DESCON.

•2 Years DHDS Project (March-2009 To Dec-2010) Erection, Installation, Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning of PARCO DHDS plant with EPC contractor CNCEC.

RESPONSIBILITIES: (Same for AABU and DHDS)

•Work best to achieve performance targets set by seniors and my team.
•Review of Engineering and Design Drawings, Technical Bid Evaluation and Purchase order, Preparation of commissioning procedure, Cable selection and cable schedule,
•Supervise the installations, pre-commissioning, commissioning and perform troubleshooting of Switchgears 11kV, 3.3KV and 0.4KV, Motor control centers 0.4KV, 3.3KV, Power distribution boards, UPS and D.C Chargers, Cathodic Protection, 200KVA and 300KVA Diesel Generators, Cables, Lighting system.
•Testing and calibration of relays.
•Ensure accomplishment of standards and area classifications.

MAINTENANCE EXPERIENCE: (May 2008- March 2009)

•Supervise execution of work orders.
•Operation, maintenance and trouble shooting of 45/54MVA Power Transformers 220KV/11KV, SF6 Circuit Breaker and Disconnector etc, Induction Motors and MCC (0.42KV, 3.3KV, 6.6KV, 11KV), Circuit Breakers (0.42KV, 3.3KV, 6.6KV, 11KV), Transformers, Diesel Generators, UPS and DC Charger, VFDs, PFIP, Soot Blowers, Crude Desalters.
•Ensure implementation of company policy, IMS (ISO Quality/EMS 9001/14001, OSHAS 18001) requirements and HSEQ policy, PARCO SOPs and Area classifications.
•Testing / Calibration of relays.
•Development of SOPs.
•Coordinate maintenance activities with Plant Operation.
•Ensure Electrical Spare parts and tools etc.
•Supervise technical grooming of team and arrange technical session for better job understanding.
•Recommendations for budget preparation and inventory management of spare parts and consumables.
•Power Load management of Refinery.
•Liaison with WAPDA regarding Electric bill of approx: Rs. 1.5 million and different matters.
