I have 27+ years E&P experience, as Expert-Level Drilling Fluid Supervisor/Engineer, 11 years in onshore -- shallow & deep, HTHP reservoirs; Sour-gas environment; Offshore, 16+ years [floaters/jack-ups], 8 years in deep-water & ultra-deep water wells, [3000+m water depth]; ERD-wells, drain-holes, SRDH etc. Expert-level knowledge in formulating Drilling Fluid programs; completion fluids, high density brines, clean up fluids etc; optimization & maintenance of various types of WBMs, SBMs, OBMs etc. (10+ years experience in handling various types of OBMs/SOBMs/non-damaging OBMs)
Expert level knowledge in computer, soft-wares & QHSE.
QA/QC: While working at IOGPT, ONGC, INDIA (1993-98), implemented ISO-9001-2000, certified by DNV, in the year 1996; as member, internal-auditor-core-team.
HSE: Well versed with the existing environmental regulations.
Employment history: I have worked in ONGC, India, from 1985 to 2011, first as Drilling fluid engineer & later on as, Well-site Chemist / Company-man for Drilling-fluid-operations. On Aug’2011, I resigned from ONGC, as “Chief Chemist” & joined KOC , as “Drilling Fluid Engineering Supervisor”.
My tenure with KOC, Kuwait, was up to 10-01-2013. At present I am looking for a job.
While at KOC & earlier on, while working for ONGC, I have supervised Mud Engineers from various Service cos, like, Baroid, MI, Baker Hughes, EMEC, & KMC. Apart from Drilling Fluid operations, during all these years, my job encompassed, inter alia, supervising ‘Cementing Operations’ , Mud-Plant monitoring & Rig-site HSE. During Cementing Operations, my job was to ensure that the it is executed as per the proposal-from-base office-- be it a 'Casing-cementation, Liner Job or 'cement plug' or cement-squeeze-job. This, I have been doing for more than 27 years. I have adequate knowledge & understanding for 'cementing-operation-supervision'.
I am capable of, inter-alia, shaping Mud-policies, effective –Drilling Fluid-optimisation (WBMs/OBMs), Tailor-made Completion Fluids / High density Brines / Clean-out Fluids etc.; cost-cutting, down-hole-troubleshooting, procurement of DF-chemicals/equipments, QHSE policies, Team building etc. I am capable of working independently and proactively.

For 5 years (1993-1998), I worked at ‘Stimulation-Lab’, at ONGC’s Production Institute, INSTITUTE OF OIL & GAS PRODUCTION TECHNOLOGY, as Well-Stimulation engineer, designing Frac, Acidisation jobs (on 2D Simulator); worked for other well-production related problems like Water shutoff, Corrosion, Wax, Scale, etc.
My strength is self confidence, hard work & perseverance. I am a team-player, with a positive outlook. I am capable of, inter-alia, shaping mud-policies, effective-DF-optimisation, cost-cutting, down-hole-troubleshooting, procurement of DF-chemicals/equipments, QHSE policies, team building.
Given my vast E&P experience (Offshore / Onshore), as well as, physical fitness & mental agility; I am sure, I would be able to meet any expectation, with sure success.
At present looking for a job.
I can join immediately & ready to work, in any country, on rotation / relocation.
I have done ‘Sea-survival’ 3-times & HUET, twice. Once selected, I would renew all the requisite certifications, if needed.
I shall be needing work-visa, from the employer, for working outside India.
